Catching & Farm Zones
Weaken a wild pocket monster, then throw a ball. Rarer zones hold rarer pocket monsters.
Your starter is a gift — every other pocket monster is caught in the wild. While farming, your active pocket monster battles wild encounters automatically.
To catch one, weaken it (drive its HP low without knocking it out), then throw a Poké Ball. Catch chance scales with the species' capture rate, remaining HP, and the ball you use (Poké < Great < Ultra). VIP trainers can auto-throw; free trainers throw manually — the odds are identical.
Zones are gated by your progress, from the Verdant Meadow to Dragon's Reach and the Psychic Sanctum. Higher-tier zones spawn stronger and rarer pocket monsters.
